We are seeking an experienced Animal Technician to join our team, working with rodents and aquatics in a dynamic research environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with animals in a research setting, specifically with rodents and aquatics. They should possess knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of animal cages/tanks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our research subjects.
  • Conduct regular health checks on animals to detect any signs of injury, disease, or distress.
  • Assist senior staff members as needed, supporting their roles and contributing to the success of our research projects.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Estimated Salary: £27,500 per annum.

Job Type: Full-time.
