Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ITU) team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of patient care are consistently maintained in accordance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively to enhance customer service and satisfaction of service users.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, employees, and consultants, promoting their well-being and interests.
  • Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse and lead on clinical shifts as required.
  • Provide individualised patient care, delivering excellent standards of individualised care.
  • Advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrating courage to speak up when concerns arise about care.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the framework provided by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
