Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred clinical nursing care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Manage and allocate duties to the care team, ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
  • Manage the delivery of residents' personalised care according to their agreed plan of care, ensuring effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants, promoting professional standards within the home.
  • Ensure effective communication with external professionals, building relationships to support the care and well-being of residents.
Requirements:
  • Experience in elderly care is essential.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
  • Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people, to undertake coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants.
  • Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and motivate a team, prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively.
