Registered Nurse - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Grand Care Centre, a purpose-built care home facility in West Bridgford, Nottingham. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, who have a variety of care needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred clinical nursing care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Manage and allocate duties to the care team, ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
  • Manage the delivery of residents' personalised care plans, ensuring that their needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in elderly care is essential.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
  • Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people, to undertake the coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants.
  • Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and motivate a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively.
