Job Title: EMEA CIO Technology Risk Advisory Lead

Nomura is seeking a highly experienced EMEA CIO Technology Risk Advisory Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Chief Controls Office, you will be responsible for advising on the design, implementation, and operation of IT risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on the design, implementation, and operation of IT risk management frameworks, including policies, standards, risks, controls, and issues.
  • Lead governance, reporting, and management information, ensuring the firm's Operational Risk Management Framework is appropriately embedded in EMEA CIO.
  • Coordinate regulatory liaison and reporting, ensuring compliance with UK regulation and working with regulators.
  • Coordinate assurance activity and reporting, including liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Support the CCO strategy and transformation programme in EMEA, identifying opportunities for process and control enhancement.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in financial services, with highly experienced in designing, implementing, and operating IT risk management frameworks in Banking.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT regulatory requirements such as UK Operational Resilience and the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
  • A risk management qualification such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP.
  • Proven experience as a trusted IT risk advisor to senior management, with strong leadership and people management skills.
