St Wilfrid's Hospice is a leading provider of end-of-life care in East Sussex, delivering compassionate and professional support to patients and their families. Our Inpatient Unit is a state-of-the-art facility offering palliative nursing care interventions, and we are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our multi-professional team.
Job Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant at St Wilfrid's Hospice, you will be responsible for the observation of patients and the provision of care in accordance with management plans under the supervision of a Team Leader. This will involve working as part of a dynamic team to provide palliative nursing care interventions, supporting patients and their families through challenging times.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards.
- Recent experience in a healthcare setting in general/community nursing.
- Ability to demonstrate good communication skills, work autonomously, and maintain accurate records.
