Care Lead - Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Lead to join our dynamic Care Team at Middlefields House Care Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their health and well-being, and ensuring their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs are met.

As a Care Lead, you will be responsible for supervising all staff on the Care Team, taking responsibility for Health, Safety, and Security, administering medications to residents, and arranging cover for staff who are absent through sickness. You will also be responsible for helping residents with personal cleanliness, supporting them to eat and drink, and getting to know them to comfort, assist, and give reassurance when needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. You will also have an NVQ or QCF accreditation in Health and Social Care at level 3 or above. You will be able to work in a team, be willing to take on any task to provide an excellent level of care to our residents, and have a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to residents
  • Supervise all staff on the Care Team
  • Take responsibility for Health, Safety, and Security
  • Administer medications to residents
  • Arrange cover for staff who are absent through sickness
  • Help residents with personal cleanliness
  • Support residents to eat and drink
  • Get to know residents to comfort, assist, and give reassurance when needed
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care
  • NVQ or QCF accreditation in Health and Social Care at level 3 or above
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to take on any task to provide an excellent level of care to residents
