Care Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Lead to join our dynamic Care Team at Middlefields House Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
  • Supervise and support staff on the Care Team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing and dressing.
  • Support residents with eating and drinking, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Build relationships with residents, providing comfort, reassurance, and emotional support when needed.
  • Ensure residents' care plans are up-to-date and reflect their individual needs.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and encourage participation in community activities.
  • Treat residents as individuals with unique needs, promoting a person-centered approach to care.
  • Assist with end-of-life care, providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.
About You:
  • You will have a passion for working with older people and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • You will have experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • You will be willing to lead shifts and take a hands-on approach to care, as required.
  • You will be able to work effectively in a team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
