Dedicated SEMH Education Professional

We are looking for a Dedicated SEMH Education Professional to join our team and deliver Maths and English lessons to students with Social and Emotional Health Needs in Colchester.
About the OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the national curriculum for Maths and English, as well as experience working with students who require additional emotional support. Key responsibilities include helping students develop essential life skills, such as coping strategies, social skills, resilience, confidence, and independence.
You will work closely with students who have been out of education for some time, helping them reintegrate back into school and establish a consistent daily routine. Our team will provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure each student receives the best possible education.
Contract Details: £25 per hour, minimum 1 hour per session, maximum 3 hours per session
Qualifications and Experience Required- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent)
- At least 6 months' experience working in a UK school
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
- Proven experience supporting students with SEN or similar
