We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Revvity. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing high-throughput clinical genome sequencing and other clinical assays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical test processes and evaluate results produced relative to the diagnostic assessment.
- Engage in continuous process and service improvement, making and implementing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and implement new services for areas of responsibility.
- Strictly adhere to quality control guidelines to ensure the integrity of laboratory specimens and accuracy of results.
- Ensure all work is in accordance with country regulations, organizational policies, and accreditation/compliance requirements.
- Assist in maintaining ISO 15189 and other accreditation and regulatory agency standards and regulations.
- Perform laboratory assays, including clinical and development testing, and other duties as required, including shift work.
- Clinical experience with various molecular techniques, including high-throughput DNA sequencing, in a commercial, academic, or government laboratory.
- HCPC registration preferred.
- Experience with nucleic acid-based assays.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Practical experience with clinical laboratory practices and protocols is a definite plus.
- Clinical Laboratory environment; exposure to blood-borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals; must wear personal protective equipment, including a lab coat, gloves, and completely closed footwear.
- Weekend rotation may be required.
