The AtkinsRéalis UK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects and the home unit for our project management staff.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Epsom and South-East practice, who wants to take the next step in their career and further their responsibility for the delivery of projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will have several years of multi-disciplinary infrastructure project delivery experience, ideally from within a consultancy environment. They will be responsible for delivering schemes to budget and programme through RIBA Stages 0-7 (or the sector equivalent) and be the main point of contact with our clients on these projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality
- Identify and manage potential contractual/commercial risks
- Lead the project team, building and motivating them to solve problems and make decisions
- Agree commercial trading arrangements and communication plans with other teams
- Assemble and own the project delivery programme and delivery plans
- APM PMQ (or equivalent) recognised level of competence in Project Management
- Experience of defence market projects or assisting the management of projects from inception to completion
- Strong client-facing and customer service skills
- Understanding of BIM and experience of working closely with multi-disciplinary design teams
