About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Senior Project Manager looking for the next challenge, with proven experience in successfully delivering projects. The role combines agile working from our Epsom office with time at client offices and sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver schemes to budget and programme through RIBA Stages 0-7 (or the sector equivalent) and be the main point of contact with our clients on these projects.
  • To identify and manage any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to AtkinsRéalis, as well as identification of opportunities.
  • To lead the project team - building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding and developing the team towards solving problems and making decisions.
Requirements
  • A strong background in Project Management/Engineering/Building Surveying/Architectural discipline, with design management, project management and contract administration experience.
  • APM PMQ (or equivalent) recognised level of competence in Project Management - desirable, understands and has experience in deploying various forms of construction contract, in particular NEC3 or 4 and/or bespoke forms of contract.
  • Experience of defence market projects or assisting the management of projects from inception to completion (RIBA Stages 0 - 7 or equivalent).
  • Strong client facing and customer service skills, with the ability to understand clients' requirements and lead a delivery team in a positive and confident manner.
