Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing and nurturing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business opportunities across various markets and sectors.
  • Manage existing accounts to secure additional revenues.
  • Conduct sales and marketing activities within the allocated UK region or vertical market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the engineering/support team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review sales goals, efficiencies, and overall performance with the line manager.
  • Achieve set KPIs and maintain accurate records in the company's CRM system.
  • Be willing to work outside normal office hours and travel as needed for client engagement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Demonstrable sales track record and ability to meet sales targets.
  • Team player with strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in English with excellent reading, verbal, and written skills.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in customer interaction and solution selling.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
