About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Referral Administrator to join our team at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a key member of our Referral Support Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of outpatient referrals for patients in the Vale of York and Scarborough and Ryedale areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Referral Support Service team, ensuring a seamless referral process for individual patients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, GPs, and healthcare providers, offering guidance on referral pathways and waiting times.
  • Utilize the NHS e-Referral Service to book appointments and provide patients with information on available care options.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring patients receive a high-quality experience throughout their journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service excellence, using your own initiative to respond to complex and sensitive issues.
