**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Customs Administrator to join our client's global engineering organisation in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The successful candidate will work closely with the Despatch department and report directly to the Despatch Manager.

**Responsibilities:

  • Create and review all invoices and shipping documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process, liaising with couriers, freight forwarders, and logistic partners
  • Produce, update, and monitor spreadsheets to collate data for wider teams and Senior Stakeholders
  • Generate shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and address labels for outbound shipments
  • Complete export checks for licensing approvals and customs requirements
  • Arrange outbound freight with carriers, customer freight forwarders, and audits

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting within shipping and exports
  • Experience of overseeing and managing shipping and exports documentation and licenses
  • Attention to detail, able to input data and keep accurate records in accordance with shipping and export regulations
  • Able to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Able to communicate with internal and external personnel
