Anaesthetist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Anaesthetic Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in anaesthesia, with experience in supervising undergraduates, junior doctors, and other staff. You will be expected to integrate seamlessly into our team, working collaboratively to provide a comprehensive anaesthetics service. Our department is committed to delivering excellent patient care, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anaesthetic services to patients undergoing elective and emergency surgical procedures
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other staff members
- Participate in regular medical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of completion of specialist training or equivalent
- Experience of supervising undergraduates, junior doctors, and other staff
- GMC Specialist Register or eligible for entry within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of training (CCT)
