Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients across a wide range of surgical specialties.

Main Duties

The Consultant Anaesthetist will be expected to work closely with our team of existing consultant staff to provide a comprehensive anaesthetics service. This will include participating in the provision of anaesthetic services for elective and emergency vascular cases, as well as other surgical specialties.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in anaesthesia and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care. They will also be expected to be able to integrate well with our team and contribute to the development of our anaesthetics service.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, including a medical degree and completion of specialist training in anaesthesia. They will also have experience of supervising undergraduates, junior doctors and other staff, and will be eligible for entry onto the GMC Specialist Register.
