Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Educator to join our team at NHS Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the quality of the learning environment by providing educational input and development activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers, and other learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Education Team, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Senior Charge Nurses to co-ordinate and facilitate educational needs and resources available to the nursing team within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to ensure patients are cared for to the highest standard.
  • Motivate staff to provide high standards of clinical education by acting as a role model.
  • Achieve specific administrative commitments of the role.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pediatric critical care education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
