About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Cleaning Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of designated areas within our school buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily cleaning duties, supervised by the School Business Manager
  • Ensure that the premises are maintained to a high standard and meet health and safety requirements
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve a clean and safe environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cleaner would be preferable, but training will be provided
  • Experience of working in a school or similar environment is desirable
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Ability to work well under own initiative and as part of a team
