About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust as a Domestic Support Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out daily duties as instructed by the Domestic Supervisor, including general/routine cleaning of wards, clinical and non-clinical departments/offices, communal areas, and public areas.
  • Assisting in any infection control deep cleans directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager.
  • Ensuring that all barrier nursing and infection-related PPE is fully utilized in line with the displayed signs on patient doors.
  • Ensuring that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
