About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Pathway Assistant. This role will provide administrative support to our clinical team, ensuring the smooth operation of patient pathways and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including data entry, document management, and report preparation.
  • Assist with the coordination of patient appointments, referrals, and treatments.
  • Support the development and implementation of patient pathways, ensuring compliance with 18 weeks referral to treatment guidelines and cancer pathways.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and Patient Pathway Coordinator to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including updating daily reports and general administration.
Requirements
  • Experience of customer care and administration in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of patient administration systems and databases, including Excel and similar applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently with some direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
