About The Role


This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our small and close-knit team as a Senior Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in role modelling good practice and leading on Care Act section 42 enquiries for all new adult safeguarding referrals.


About You



  • You will have a sound knowledge of the Care Act, including section 42 provision, which underpins adult safeguarding delivery.
  • You will be an experienced social worker with supervisory experience, preferably with practice educators or supervising non-social work staff.
  • You will be a team player who recognises the importance of partnership working in safeguarding practice with key stakeholders.
  • You will have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will be calm under pressure and have sound risk management abilities.
