Preoperative Care Practitioner

We are looking for a skilled Preoperative Care Practitioner to join our Cardiac Surgical team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cardiac Surgeons to provide support in the pre-, peri- and post-operative care of patients.
Main DutiesThe ideal candidate will have experience working in cardiac theatres and possess excellent manual dexterity. They will be responsible for assisting senior and junior clinicians during cardiac surgery, including harvesting conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery.
- Experience of audit, research and evidence-based care.
- Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
Estimated salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
