Safeguarding and Wellbeing Practitioner

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Waltham, Surrey. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £45,519 per annum.
- This role involves taking responsibility for managing a caseload of complex cases involving children, families, and carers.
- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risk effectively.
- Understanding the impact of harm on individuals and communities is essential.
- Undertaking assessments and developing plans to safeguard vulnerable groups is a key responsibility.
- Supervising staff and providing guidance on best practice is also an important aspect of this role.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports is critical for effective service delivery.
- Compliance with data protection policies is mandatory.
- A minimum of a social work qualification with registration with Social Work England is required.
- Experience in managing caseloads and supervising staff is highly valued.
- Community and/or group work experience is desirable.
- An understanding of children's health and social care systems and relevant legislation is necessary.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions in complex situations.
