We are a leading manufacturer of snack foods in the UK, with a strong presence in the market. Our team is looking for a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our ranks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing new products across our portfolio, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative individual to make a real impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product development strategies to meet business objectives and drive growth
  • Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept idealisation to commercialisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful product launches
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, consumer insights, and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities
  • Conduct product testing, sensory evaluations, and consumer trials to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Manage product development budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You:

  • You have proven experience in product development within the food industry, preferably in snacks or FMCG
  • You have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • You have excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • You have a passion for innovation and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
  • You have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
