Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to lead our Healthwatch Sunderland initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and sustaining projects and services that meet the needs of residents and beneficiaries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with experience in managing projects and teams. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and develop Healthwatch as a local independent consumer champion for health and social care services.
  • To support and sustain the Healthwatch Board, including recruitment, induction and training.
  • To ensure that projects meet the needs of residents/beneficiaries through applying an asset-based community development approach.
