Exciting Opportunity for a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS community mental health team at The Children's Centre, Worthing Hospital, West Sussex. The post holder will provide medical leadership for a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team, providing care in the community for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership for the CAMHS community mental health team
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for children and young people with mental health problems
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of the CAMHS service, including redesigning and developing the service
Person Specification
  • Basic Medical Training
  • Full GMC/UK Registration
  • MRC Psych or equivalent
  • Entry on Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent (or close to achieving this)
