About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for liaising with business and technical teams to develop requirements for strategic programmes of work.

The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and technical skills, with a proven track record of applying Agile software development methodologies. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, and take ownership of tasks large and small.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business and technical teams to develop requirements for strategic programmes of work
  • Lead workshops to identify and document user stories for development teams
  • Project manage the development life cycle, monitoring progress, tracking story status, and maintaining project plans
  • Test new features to ensure they meet original requirements before handing them over to business teams

Requirements:

  • Financial background essential, with lifecycle knowledge from client onboarding to trading and settlement highly advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience as a Business Analyst embedded in a technology team
  • Proven experience of applying Agile software development methodologies highly desirable
  • General exposure to working on Financial Trading platforms a distinct advantage
  • Good working knowledge of software such as Jira, Asana, or Trello desirable
