Urgent Care Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team at Watford General Hospital.

As an Emergency Practitioner, you will assess patients' health and clinical needs, using your minor injuries skills and clinical judgment to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, sharing your expertise and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out consultations with patients
  • Decide on and carry out treatment
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic qualification
  • Degree-level study in minor injuries and x-ray interpretation
  • Independent non-medical prescriber or ability to work with PGDs

Salary: £43,741.00 - £50,055.00 per annum
