Job Summary

Compass is delighted to have been selected to provide Mental Health Support Teams (Wave 12) in education settings across Birmingham, working in partnership with other health and care providers across the city.

We are seeking an experienced Data & Administration Team Leader to join our team, with extensive experience in and knowledge of the use of data and information systems to support Compass new Mental Health Support Teams in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will have all the skills of a senior administrator, alongside the developed ability to input, store, retrieve, analyse and report on data from a client management information system.

Working alongside the Team Leaders and Service Manager, the post holder will have responsibility for establishing integrated management information and administrative systems across the whole service, ensuring that services are aligned to best meet local needs.

The post will be based in Birmingham and will work with and support delivery of services to children, young people and families in Birmingham.

The post holder will directly manage the Senior Administrator and oversee the direction and support to the administration team, providing for high-quality, efficient and effective administrative functions.

There may be some infrequent requirement to travel between our sites, schools and partner agencies.

Main Duties of the Job

Compass Birmingham MHST (Wave 12) is a new early intervention and preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing service, delivering evidenced-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.

The service is part of the national MHST Programme, which has been commissioned following the Transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Care Provision: A Green Paper (2017).

The Person

We are looking for a values-driven leader with a passion for supporting children, young people and families' mental health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience of inputting and producing statistical data and reports on databases and spreadsheets
  • Experience of managing and supervising others within a team
