Job Summary

Compass is proud to be selected to provide Mental Health Support Teams in education settings across Birmingham, working in partnership with other health and care providers. We are seeking an experienced Data & Administration Team Leader to support our new Mental Health Support Teams in Birmingham.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled professional with extensive experience in data management and administration to lead our team. You will have the ability to input, store, retrieve, analyse and report on data from a client management information system. Working alongside Team Leaders and Service Managers, you will be responsible for establishing integrated management information and administrative systems across the whole service.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and support the delivery of services to children, young people and families in Birmingham. You will directly manage the Senior Administrator and oversee the direction and support to the administration team, providing high-quality, efficient and effective administrative functions.

About the Role

We are looking for a values-driven leader with a passion for supporting children, young people and families' mental health and wellbeing. You will have a strong understanding of data protection legislation and safeguarding issues relating to children, young people and vulnerable adults. Experience of managing and supervising others within a team is essential.

Qualifications

Essential

  • English Language and Maths - GCSE A C or equivalent qualification
  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Level 3 IT Qualification/Training in Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Packages or equivalent experience

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in dealing with phone calls and email enquiries
  • Experience of inputting and producing statistical data and reports on databases and spreadsheets
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Packages, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
  • Experience in providing support to others based in different locations
  • Working in a busy office environment where multi-tasking is essential
  • Organising, attending and taking minutes of meetings, producing reports, managing and analysing data and service user records
  • Liaising with clients/customers via the telephone, email and in person in a busy customer service environment.
  • Experience of managing and supervising others within a team.
