Join us at a highly-regarded two-form entry school in the UK as we seek enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our reception team. This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers a unique opportunity to work 1:1 with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing consistent and tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom environment.

In this role, you'll have the chance to nurture the development, welfare, and independence of children with SEN while collaborating closely with the Nursery Lead to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Have high expectations and are committed to raising the achievement of all children.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in reception or early years, and understand the importance of consistency in their learning environment.
  • Hold a Child Only Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or are willing to obtain one).
  • Can use diverse strategies to effectively engage and support children's learning.
  • Demonstrate kindness and professionalism, serving as role models for children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Are open-minded and positive, aligned with the school's ethos, vision, and values.
  • Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: Secure a permanent position if successful during the temporary period.
  • Free CPD and Training: Access to professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Referral Bonus: Earn rewards through our refer-a-friend scheme.

This welcoming, two-form entry school is a great place to work, with a supportive and inclusive environment where staff collaborate as a team to inspire children's growth. We embrace creative, play-based learning approaches to foster independence and curiosity in our students.

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including free child protection and prevent duty training, and access to professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
