Key Account Manager Role in Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the ophthalmic pharmaceuticals sector. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of quality ophthalmic pharmaceuticals to all levels of the NHS in your designated area, including GP clinics, hospitals, and ICPs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dispensing GPs, ophthalmic consultants, and payors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the territory
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies
Requirements:
  • Experience in primary or secondary care pharmaceutical sales
  • Excellent account management skills and a proven track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of the ophthalmic pharmaceuticals market and industry trends
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
What We Offer:
  • Basic salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped bonus with £20,000 achievable on this patch
  • Car allowance of £550 - £600 per month
  • 25 days annual leave, healthcare, company pension, laptop, and mobile phone
