Financial Manager Job Description

FRS Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing financial process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports and analysis to stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring proper recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, liaising with tax advisors as needed
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage the finance team, providing training, guidance, and regular check-ins to support their development
  • Work closely with department heads and operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial matters and processes, ensuring clear and effective communication with other departments
Requirements:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or working towards
  • At least 3-4 years of finance experience, ideally gained in a broad position covering management / financial accounting
  • Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and manage a finance team effectively
  • Ability to liaise with other departments, external partners, and team members using both verbal and written communication
  • Capacity to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Excel
