Job Description:

Our trust is seeking a specialist medicines pharmacist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference to patient care.

The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will be responsible for managing high-cost drugs, providing evaluated information on drug expenditure, and developing guidelines/protocols.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-cost drugs and provide evaluated information on drug expenditure
  • Develop guidelines/protocols and ensure compliance
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in hospital-based pharmacy services, particularly in rheumatology and dermatology
  • MR Pharm or equivalent qualification
  • Registered as a pharmacist with GPhC
  • Postgraduate Pharmacy Qualification or equivalent experience
Estimated Salary:

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum
