As a category captain in chilled desserts, you'll be part of a continued growth agenda with a household-renowned brand and substantial investment in NPD and exciting growth plans through 2025.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customer strategies that exceed all objectives, adding value to and being a harmonious part of a high-achieving team.
- Understand and utilize all commercial processes to deliver on daily customer management, including range, distribution, space, cost prices, promotional plans, and instore activations.
- Negotiate and influence for new listings, distribution increases, and additional promotion space.
- Build cross-functional relationships and touchpoints to further embed your understanding of the brand/OL offering.
The Successful Applicant:
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with real passion and energy to deliver key wins, with experience in grocery national account management and a proven track record of managing sizeable P&Ls across the top 4.
- Exposure and experience working with a brand or own label, preferably both, with demonstrable commercial wins through delivering strategic yet creative customer plans.
- A natural curiosity and opinion, with the ability to challenge and be challenged, and build internal relationships in a high-functioning team.
- Financial/commercial understanding, together with intellect to interpret performance and recommend actions, and highly influential both internally and externally, with negotiation skills.
- A desire to be part of a fast-paced, 'red tape' free entrepreneurial and agile-based culture.
What's on Offer:
A highly competitive salary, car allowance, hybrid working arrangement (3 days in London, 2 WFH), and travel expenses including overnights.
