We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Matchtech. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for the quality inspection of detailed aerospace parts in accordance with design data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect detailed parts according to design specifications.
  • Perform product Stage and Final Inspections.
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and prepare associated documentation packs (VISUAL FAIR and/or AS9102).
  • Maintain supplier and reject logs.
  • Conduct Good Inwards Inspection and maintain accurate data entry and administration.
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and conduct investigations using problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D's), including Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs).
  • Manage and use calibrated measuring equipment, as well as operate CMM and laser tracking.
  • Support relevant functions and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Complete other work-related tasks as reasonably required.

Personal Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role is essential.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices, as well as experience with calibrated measuring equipment and CMM and laser tracking.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
