Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Professional to join our team as a Special Education Support Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN) by providing support and guidance in a mainstream primary school setting.

As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each child. Your role will involve building trusting relationships with pupils, collaborating with teachers to create inclusive learning environments, and supporting children in developing daily living skills for increased independence.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the national Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Curriculums, be willing to adapt in response to changing circumstances, and possess the ability to handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with a competitive pay rate based on experience, paid weekly.
