Educational Support Assistant in Rochdale

About the Role
GSL Education is working with a school in Rochdale who are seeking an experienced Educational Support Assistant to join their team. The role is a long-term position and for the right individual, it could lead to a permanent contract.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in the classroom by providing guidance and assistance to students
- Cover classes in the absence of the teacher and run interventions with small groups of children
- Utilize strong leadership and behaviour management skills to ensure students adhere to the school's behaviour management policy
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Qualification in Higher Level Teaching Assistance or a relevant degree
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
- Right to work in the UK
