Job Title: Associate - Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate - Education to join our team at the New Pennsylvania Project. As a key member of our organizing team, you will play a critical role in voter education and engagement in diverse communities throughout Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

The Associate - Education will work closely with our Regional Organizing Director to develop and implement voter education and engagement strategies in targeted communities. This includes canvassing, voter registration, and civic education initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for voter rights, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement voter education and engagement strategies in targeted communities
  • Conduct canvassing and voter registration efforts in diverse communities
  • Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to build relationships and promote voter education
  • Provide civic education and voter registration training to community members
  • Track and report data on voter registration and engagement efforts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. political science, communications, education)
  • 1-2 years of experience in voter education, community organizing, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods of time and in different weather conditions
