We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team at Maximus as a Nurse Functional Assessor. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will be responsible for conducting telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to determine how a person's disability or health condition impacts their ability to perform daily tasks.

You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders, developing your skills and knowledge with regular feedback and supervision. Your compassion and experience will help customers move forward with their lives.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed reports to help the DWP make informed decisions about a person's benefits. You will have the chance to utilize your clinical expertise and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports. A valid NMC registration number and at least one year of post-registration adult or mental health experience are also required.
