Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Adult Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in an Intermediate care unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in rehabilitation care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

About the Unit:
The Intermediate care unit provides medical and therapy services, including comprehensive assessments, daily board rounds, goal and care planning, and regular reviews. The team works closely with patients, families, and carers to promote independence and optimal health outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in rehabilitation and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients requiring rehabilitation, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to formulate a plan of care. They will also provide specialist education and training to departmental nursing staff, nursing, and medical students. As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to accommodate flexible working arrangements. The post requires a DBS check, and the successful candidate will pay for their DBS certificate.
