We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at a luxurious hotel in North Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to shape the finance strategy, focusing on maximizing revenue and controlling costs. Key responsibilities include preparing reports, forecasting, managing P&L accounts, and overseeing budgets.
A competitive salary of £60,000 is offered for this role, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure effective operation of financial processes
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and achieve financial goals
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to inform business decisions
- Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
