Job Summary

We are seeking a Social Inclusion Specialist to join our team at South Ayrshire Council. This role involves working with vulnerable young people, throughcare, and aftercare services, as well as youth justice services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote and protect the welfare of vulnerable people by assessing individual need and identifying goals, interventions, and resources.
  • To work sensitively with diversity and in an anti-discriminatory way, promoting social inclusion.
  • To undertake statutory interventions, participate in duty, and provide high-quality reports, assessments, and recordings.

Requirements

Applicants must have the necessary qualifications and skills to carry out these tasks, which include providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals. Relevant training will be provided.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly between home and the office, depending on service exigencies. They will also become a member of the PVG Scheme, which is required for this post.
