Index Solutions Analyst Role

We're seeking an experienced Index Solutions Analyst to join Legal & General Asset Management's Index Solutions team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our custom indices.

Main Responsibilities

We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who can maintain knowledge of LGIM's custom indices and communicate effectively with client relationship managers, distribution teams, and clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of LGIM's custom indices, including index holdings and key performance drivers.
  • Be the point of contact for technical and specific client queries, leveraging specialists in the team as needed.
  • Create standard presentations and RFP content to support client-specific queries and lead non-standard presentation and RFP production.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop marketing materials for index funds and services.
  • Collaborate with the wider Asset Management team to develop thought leadership relevant to the index proposition.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date core product information, including external and internal collateral.
  • Communicate complex analysis and sophisticated ideas in a concise and understandable fashion, both externally and internally, to clients of varying sophistication levels.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current investment market and economic issues from an index and benchmark perspective.


Requirements

We're looking for someone with a strong background in evaluating index strategies and presenting complex index data in a simple and readable format. Key skills include knowledge of how to evaluate an index, strong investment and financial market knowledge, and proficiency in VBA, Excel, and data analysis. Excellent presentation and written communication skills are also essential.
