Heavy Plant Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quarry and Asphalt Maintenance Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our quarry and asphalt plant.
Main Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 4 engineers to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Maintenance Management: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, and lead by example in promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Performance Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team is meeting its targets and objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a heavy manufacturing industry, with a strong background in maintenance management and team leadership.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as experience with crushing, screening, and other heavy plant equipment.
- Education: HNC/HND or recognized apprenticeship or BEng advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
