Plant Maintenance Manager Opportunity
Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager to join their team based in the Somerset / Wiltshire border area on a permanent basis.
About the Role:- As a Plant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within a plant or manufacturing environment.
- You will lead a small team of fitters and work with contractors to ensure the plant operates efficiently and effectively.
- The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be proactive in maintenance planning, and react to breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Experience in heavy plant, quarry, or similar environments is desirable but not essential.
As a Plant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing team coverage and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Managing budgets and ensuring H&S / legal compliance.
- Developing and implementing proactive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
- Reacting to breakdowns and ensuring prompt resolution.
Advanced Resource Managers Ltd offers a competitive salary between £48,000 and £53,000, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for overtime and a bonus scheme. The company also provides a generous pension scheme and holiday allowances.
This is a full-time position working typically Monday to Friday (48 hours per week contracted) with some flexibility in working arrangements.
