Job Opportunity:

Veolia is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Energy Compliance Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with energy legislation that impacts Veolia's licensed and unlicensed energy activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead internal project management and deployment of existing or future regulatory incentive schemes
  • Advise stakeholders on the implications and risks of existing legislative policy, defining compliance requirements and implementing strategies
  • Present new legislative policy to stakeholders, advising on best strategies for compliance
  • Maintain procedures to ensure compliance with government and market policy
  • Provide monthly submissions and verification of data used to claim fiscal incentives
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting deadlines for existing regulator schemes

Requirements:
  • Must have UK emissions trading system or regulatory background experience
