About Us: Our client, a leading supplier of operated vacuum excavators to the UK construction industry, is seeking an ambitious Inside Sales Executive to join their team. With a strong reputation in the market, they are well-established in various sectors including Aviation, Nuclear, Power, Highways, Rail, Construction, Gas, Water, Utilities, Telecoms, Tunnelling, Bespoke Solutions, and Emergency Works.

Salary: An attractive base salary of £28,000 - £30,000 + bonus + benefits is available, providing a competitive compensation package for the successful candidate.

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive account management and sales activities
  • Provide timely quotations and work with clients to close deals efficiently and effectively
  • Update the CRM system with quotations and relevant information
  • Develop key customer accounts and identify new business opportunities using the CRM system and other sales tools
  • Support other departments and demonstrate a cross-departmental attitude

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Familiarity with the construction sector and its nuances
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, specifically Salesforce or similar
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Proactive telephone sales manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
