Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Lead Directorate Pharmacist in the delivery of directorate responsibilities and duties
  • Provide and maintain a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service to a cohort of patients in accordance with Trust policies
  • Report and analyse medicines expenditure, clinical governance, and risk management
  • Support the lead and less experienced pharmacists in critical care and surgery
Requirements
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Hospital and ward-based clinical experience
  • Ability to work within codes of practice and professional guidelines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to work under pressure
